Gaitkeeping is a methodology people with Parkinson’s can use to better coordinate their walk, and prolong their independence. For over 15 years Pamela Quinn has been helping people with Parkinson’s achieve greater mobility through group classes, one-on-one instruction, and large scale dance performances. For over 25 years she has been living with the disease herself. Gaitkeeping is her attempt to synthesize her professional and personal experience into a single program to help PwPs preserve the most essential component of their independence: their walk.
